Notification on Integrating GRND for Shoe NFT Trading and Related Updates

To strengthen the SuperWalk ecosystem and provide a better experience for our users, the currency used for trading Shoe NFT in the in-app store will be changed from KLAY to GRND. This is an important change to unify SuperWalk's economic model and provide more benefits to users.

Important Notes

The use of the Shoe NFT market will be restricted during the update period.
◦
All Shoe NFT listings in the Shoe NFT market will be canceled after the update.
◦
After the update, the trading currency for Shoe NFT will be changed to GRND.
◦
In the SuperWalk wallet, users can transfer oUSDT to other wallets via the ‘Out’ option on the wallet screen after the update.
◦
The ‘Swap’ function to convert oUSDT will no longer be available after the update.
◦
The ‘Transfer’ function for ‘Wallet → Spending’ and ‘Spending → Wallet’ transfers of oUSDT will be disabled after the update.

Q. Why change to GRND?

A-1. SuperWalk aims to support multi-chain and integrate with various blockchain networks. To achieve this, it is necessary to unify the base currency used for trading. Using KLAY may lead to Shoe liquidity being fragmented across each chains, resulting in additional costs for users during transactions. By integrating GRND as the base currency for trading Shoe NFT, we can resolve this issue and reduce trading costs.

A-2. Currently, assets within the SuperWalk ecosystem are fragmented, leading to the dilution of their value. This fragmentation can cause confusion when users manage and use different assets. By unifying all assets under GRND, the ecosystem's value can be managed more clearly and consistently. This change will simplify asset management and trading for users.
Q. Can both Arbitrum and Klaytn Shoe NFT be traded with GRND?

A-1. Yes, all Shoe NFT can be traded with GRND.
•
A-2. However, on external NFT marketplaces like OpenSea, Shoe NFT can still be traded with KLAY and ETH. Therefore, while GRND will be used for in-app trading in SuperWalk, KLAY or ETH can be used for trading on OpenSea.
